Finally, Eiichiro Oda is back to discuss this ONE PIECE in a new interview, the same one that debuted on a Japanese television station a few hours ago. The author therefore took the opportunity to take stock of the situation on the manga and to discuss his career as a mangaka.

The fans had been waiting for the distribution for about a weekfull interview with Eiichiro Oda from a Japanese broadcaster that ended up broadcasting at home in the past few hours. The sensei took the opportunity to reiterate his intention to finish the manga within four and a half years, despite warning exactly a year ago that the work would not take more than five years to reach the finale.

The writer is therefore slightly more than expected to narrate the manga while taking note of his intentions to end the series by late 2024 and early 2025. In any case, the mangaka also added that it intended to write a ninja story in ONE PIECE but it was preceded by Masashi Kishimoto and Naruto which forced him to change his mind. For the future, however, Oda has proven to be a little cautious as he currently has no intention of drawing another manga after ONE PIECE.

And you, what do you think of Sensei’s words? Please let us know as usual with a comment in the appropriate field below. We would like to remind you at this point that the spoilers for Chapter 989 are available on our website.
