In December the website Anime! Anime! conducted an interesting poll and asked the Japanese public what they thought of them the best anime themes of 2020. The votes of thousands of fans have allowed the site to create two leaderboards, one for the opening and one for the ending theme.
The selected sample consisted of just over 1,000 people for each of the rankings 72% of women voters and only 28% of men. In both cases around 40% of voters were under 20 years of age.
