In November 2012 the adventure of Food Wars – Shokugeki no Soma. At the end of that Weekly Shonen Jump editorial year, an unreleased duo consisting of Yuto Tsukuda and Shun Saeki debuted and created a successful release that would last eight years. Public support was such that a long-lived anime was born.
Now the series is over, but Food Wars will soon be 10 years old. There are only a few weeks left until the anniversary at the end of November and some celebrations are in sight. Not much is known at the moment, but the designer is Shun Saeki starts to fuel the hype that’s about this title. In fact, official illustrations featuring Soma and Erina, the two historical protagonists of the manga, have been released in the last few days.
They are not the only characters portrayed as the mangaka has also presented himself in the last few hours an illustration by Ikumi Mito Official. The girl, kindly named Nikumi, was one of the first to challenge Soma at Totsuki Academy due to a pun between Ikumi and Niku (meat). In this image she is seen in her usual attire consisting of a simple bathing suit and short shorts, with the usual knife in her hands.
