In November 2021, during the Netflix Festival Japan, the platform announced some major news in Japanese animation that will arrive through 2022 and beyond. Among the titles presented there was exceptionSpace horror anime, with grotesque elements, that was talked about over and over again during Geeked Week.

In order to make a work of this type particularly interesting, two characters in particular are involved in the production: ​​Hirotaka Adachi as a screenwriter, also known by the name Otsuichi, already the author of many horror stories and stories, and Yoshitaka Amano, famous artist of the Final Fantasy series, as a character designer. And it was precisely the aesthetics and the atmosphere that will characterize the series to be the protagonist of the new published images that are shown at the bottom of the page.

The official Netflix Twitter page was initially shared an image representing four characters in some kind of control room, in front of a spherical hologram. Four other images from the series were later shared, with close-ups of the characters, a spaceship and a planet in the distance. Amano's stroke is immediately recognizable, along with a foretaste of the atmosphere that will characterize the work, however no release date has been defined yet.
