On the occasion of Goku Day, TOEI Animation revealed the existence of a project that was born long before the release of Dragon Ball Super: Broly, a film that aims to take storytelling and fighting to a new level. But to be effective, this film needs an antagonist with insane power.

To overcome the quality and success of Dragon Ball Super: Broly, the new TOEI animation project must follow two very specific paths. The first is to submit one much deeper plot, a story that may deepen the Super Saiyan god or expand knowledge of the universe.

The second option is the stage mind-boggling battles. To do this, however, we need an antagonist who has a combat level like that of a god.

The franchise creator Akira Toriyama has already anticipated the appearance of an "unexpected" character. It will most likely be the focus of the film, a threat that can keep up with us overcome Goku and Vegeta.

In the final chapters of the manga, the two Saiyajins managed to expand their potential to excess, the first by improving the ultra-instinct and the second on the way of Hakai. A Villain on a divine level it would further increase the stakes and ease the duo's advancement, which could really be expressing their maximum potential at this point.

And what do you think, does Dragon Ball Super really need new levels of performance in 2022? Or should we take a completely new path? Therefore, this new Dragon Ball Super movie could resort to the animated series.
