Toyotaro, Author of Dragon Ball Super with the legendary Akira Toriyama, as an exception, he will take part in two interviews this month, on August 9th and 16th, 2021. According to V Jump, the mangaka will be a guest on the show “Weekly Dragon Ball News” and will speak specifically about the Granolah narrative arc.
Weekly Dragon Ball News is a web series that airs every Monday on the Official Dragon Ball website, directed by V Jump Victory editor Uchida and also available with English subtitles. Toyotaro will take part in two special episodes, each about five minutes in length, will be released on August 9th and 16th and answers some questions about the Granolah saga. At the moment we don’t know whether the questions will be chosen by the fans or directly by the editorial team.
In any case, the fact that Toyotaro agreed to the interview suggests a possible announcement, perhaps the end of the current narrative arc and the beginning of a new saga. It’s also not ruled out that the author may reveal some information about Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero, the new movie due out in 2022, although V Jump has confirmed that the focus will mainly be on the events of the latest saga.
Dragon Ball Super recently returned to MangaPlus with Chapter 74 and will show the developments of the clash between Vegeta and Granolah on August 18th. THEThe manga has been running for four years now and at the moment the hypothesis of a possible conclusion has not yet been launched.
