Even today, the controversy surrounding the character design of Dragon Ball Super which, despite the modernity of the graphics compared to the prequel, failed to fully convince long-time fans of the franchise. Because of this, from time to time some fans create the new characters with the iconic style of Z.
Someone even wondered what the Tournament of Power saga would have been like with the Dragon Ball Z trait, and the results created a strong nostalgia for the fans still attached to the extraordinary prequel. The artist DarkHans0 is one of them and has often given its followers an interpretation of the characters with the old character design. Just think of this illustration of Vegetto Super Saiyan 4, a character but one that is part of the imagination Super Dragon Ball Heroes.
In his latest creation, he put the spotlight on one of DB Super’s most popular villains Goku Black. As you can see in the graphic at the end of the news, the antagonist has been recreated in its Super Saiyan form and with the typical and distinctive style of Dragon Ball Z. The fan art was very much appreciated by fans who enthusiastically responded to the artist’s original contribution.
