Dragon Ball great It was a much-requested reboot by a large part of the community, who however didn’t hesitate to voice their conflicting opinions in the face of unoriginal narrative devices and the now excessive and repetitive transformations that Goku and Vegeta cyclically receive to face new threats.
Among the various forms in question is the Super Saiyan God, presented in the film Dragon Ball Z: The Battle of the Gods, penultimate of the Z genre, was certainly one of the most criticized and least appreciated. This is because the design differs very little from Goku’s original base, slightly tanned and with purple hair. For these reasons, a passionate artist drew the series his version of Goku Super Saiyan God, by creating the great drawing that you will find below.
The user @Nova4Nation was able to combine different elements typical of the entire work conceived by Akira Toriyama and some details that can be seen in the non-canon Dragon Ball GT. The first key feature is the color change. In fact, a bright yellow characterizes Goku’s hair as well as his tail and body, covered in the typical hair of the Super Saiyan 4 form. With a mocking smile, the red-eyed protagonist wields a cane with golden symbols on the ends, likely a nod to the Nyoi cane from the first series.
A complete redesign that has received thousands of likes and positive comments. Waiting to see too an alternate version of Vegeta Super Saiyan God, as promised by the user, tell us what you think about this illustration in the area reserved for comments.
My interpretation of Toei’s SSJ God Goku.
So I’m in love with this one. I have to show Vegeta some love too 👌🏽👌🏽 pic.twitter.com/PuiNtvjO8j
