Dragon Ball Super 82 is the last published chapter of the series, written by Akira Toriyama and drawn by Toyotaro. The saga of Granolah the Survivor has Goku and Vegeta confronting two fearsome warriors that the Saiyans are almost nothing compared to. How will the Z warriors be able to face a Gas tier enemy?
The March 2022 chapter of Dragon Ball Super begins with Goku, who, in order to buy time, teleports gas across the universe, exploiting the heeter’s poor command of the technique. Eventually, Goku manages to return to Monaito, leaving Gas with Whis on a very distant planet. However, the Heeter has not given up: he withdraws the attack on the planet grain fly at an impressive speed.
Meanwhile, Monaito reveals to Goku that she has him Baddack’s Scouter, with a shot of the Saiyan from his previous fight with Gas. In Dragon Ball Super 82, after hearing the recording, Goku’s memories resurface in Goku’s mind and thus begins the flashback of his father’s fight with gas.
Baddack, determined to protect Monaito and Granolah, orders the two to flee while he tries to placate a still infant Gas. However, Goku’s father is unable to hold his own against the Heeter: We see the criminal escape unscathed from the Saiyan’s numerous punches, and at the last table, Gas prepares to attack.
At the moment we know that Gas was traumatized by something Baddack had done, but in the new chapter the battle of the past seems to be turning in the Heeters’ favor. What will Baddack do in Dragon Ball Super 83 to turn the tide of battle?
