Born in the first half of the 80s from the mind of the mangaka Akira Toriyama, Dragon Ball has introduced millions of readers to the shonen genre, defining its main elements more precisely. During the published series, up to the most recent Dragon Ball Super, we have seen the growth of the protagonist: Son Goku.
The November 20, 1984 the first chapter of Goku's story was published, an incredibly skilled child in martial arts, thanks to the training with his grandfather in these disciplines, and probably also to his Saiyan nature which will however only be revealed in Dragon Ball Z. The first chapters have introduced us to a fantastic world, similar to ours only in some respects, but where dinosaurs, children with a tail, dragons able to fulfill wishes, and creatures from Chinese and Japanese mythology meet.
After 36 years, the first series of Dragon Ball is still one of the most appreciated, both for writing and for the lighter, more linear, playful style, also given by the smiling and likeable Goku child, who got a new, beautiful, collectible statue.
As you can see in the post at the bottom of the news, the statue in question features a divinely made Goku child, with a funny expression to say the least. The peculiarities and details of the rope that holds the magic stick, the folds on the suit and above all the 4-star dragon ball, which represents for Goku the last link with his dear grandfather. The statue, 88 centimeters tall, can already be ordered at a price of 284 euros, and should be available starting in the summer months.
Recall that the Dragon Ball franchise has passed ONE PIECE, and that it has finally been explained why the tail, the hallmark of the Saiyan breed, did not grow in Goten and Trunks.
