Netflix recently released a new trailer for DOTA: Dragon’s Blood, the US-made animated series based on the video game Dota 2 from Valve. The series will debut around the world on March 25th, and moments ago the streaming giant decided to show new clips and share the first posters dedicated to the characters.

At the top of the article, you can check out the new trailer that confirms the show’s release date. Contrary to what we saw recently at Dragon’s Dogma, This time around, Netflix preferred to limit the use of CGI, used by Studio Mir (The Legend of Korra, The Witcher: The Wolf’s Nightmare) only to animate dragons.

Ashley Edward Miller (X-Men: First Class, Thor, Black Sails) wrote the story based on the origins of the video game characters, with Ryu Ki Hyun as executive producer. Among the voice actors stand out Yuri Lowenthal (Spider-Man in the Insomniac video game series) as Davion Dragon Knight, Josh Keaton (Revolver Ocelt in Metal Gear Solid 3) in those of Bram and the famous Troy Baker as an invoker. You can take a look at the character design below.

Back to the anime, the first season will only consist of eight episodes, but given the fame of the Valve series, a renewal is always possible. Italian dubbing should be available from launch.
