There are many curiosities about Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba that were never revealed in the main series but have been delegated to sequels wedged between the extra pages of the volumes. Most novelties are minor, like Uzui Tengen’s original look or whatever strongest column in arm wrestling.

Sticking with that last statement, in the Demon Slayer manga or anime, the pillars are never seen seriously competing against each other, only rarely seen in training sessions, let alone arm wrestling. What is the strongest column in arm wrestling? according to author Koyoharu Gotouge?

According to an additional page drawn by the mangaka, The weakest on the list is inevitably Kocho Shinobu, followed by Iguro Obanai. Tokitou Muichiro follows and places himself in the category of “normal” characters, while in ascending order we have characters that are said to be very strong, in this order: Mitsuru Kanroji, Tomioka Giyu, Sanemi Shinazugawa, Kyojuro Rengoku, Uzui Tengen and finally Gyomei Himejima.

The last two in particular are considered very strong, with the stone pillar being completely out of scale. Tanjiro would have positioned himself under Muichiro in the normal category instead. The author didn’t fail to devote space to the two weakest in another extra page of Demon Slayer, where Shinobu and Iguro confirm that strength in the arms isn’t everything. Do you know what the 13 techniques of the dance of the fire god are?
