The popularity of the series Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba seems unstoppable, between the success achieved with the release of the Infinity Train film and numerous announcements on various projects, such as a new live-action show that will debut in early 2022.
In recent years it has been growing more and more in Japan the passion for theater adaptations of some of the most popular manga and anime works, and of course after receiving the first show of 2020, director Kenichi Suemitsu will return along with the same cast of actors Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the 2nd: bindings. After posting a poster with all the characters, the company released the short trailer that you can see at the bottom of the news.
A detail immediately strikes you Faithful to original designs, not only of the protagonists, but also of the Nine Pillars, by Muzan Kibutsuji and Rui, each antagonist of the entire series and main enemy of the narrative arc of Mount Natagumo. Ryota Kobayashi returns as Tanjiro Kamado, as well as Akari Takaishi, Keisuke Ueda and Yugo Sato in those by Nezuko, Zenitsu and Inosuke. The company has already opened pre-orders for tickets for the performance, which will debut at Tokyo’s Galaxy Theater on August 7thbefore moving to the Umeda Arts Theater in Osaka on the 15th and returning to the capital’s Tachikawa Stage Garden by the 31st.
