After completing the first phase of the narrative arc, which takes place in the red light district, the second season of Demon Hunter leads the viewer back into the intense fight that takes place on the roofs of the district between the protagonist Tanjiro Kamado and Daki, the extremely powerful and dangerous Sixth Crescent.

Episode 13, entitled Overlapping memoriesand now available on Crunchyroll, immediately takes up the blow that was seen in the closing sequence of the previous date, interrupted when Daki soaked some obi in his body. In this way, the demon not only recovers its original form with long white hair and a more disturbing look, but also discovers the presence of a Hashira in the district through the memories of one of the obi.

The confusion of the confrontation draws people to where they face each other and despite the presence of innocent civilians Daki doesn’t hesitate to destroy some buildings and kill several people with a simple attack. Tanjiro is seriously injured while trying to protect those present by telling them to flee, but is still determined to fight.

After a shot in his face the scene changes to Shinjuro Rengoku, father of the Pillar of Flame, is busy writing a letter to Tanjiro. to writewhere he apologizes for his behavior months earlier and talks about the reddish birthmark he has on his forehead, a sign of the elect of the sun’s breath from birth.

Tanjiro immediately returns to Daki and stops her. The Sixth Crescent is surprised to see Tanjiro’s father in front of itUnderstanding that these are the memories instilled in Muzan’s cells. After the short and now classic comic book interlude dedicated to Inosuke and Tengen, the Pillar of Sound sets out to return to hunt Daki.

A quick exchange of blows, in which Tanjiro remains particularly concentrated, lets the protagonist get terribly close to the opponent and chop off her head. However, the blow reveals an obi that is softer than the othersthat enables Daki to survive and resist. Once again, however, Kamado manages to dodge the 13 obi and group them in a single point by blocking them with the tip of the sword. Tanjiro approaches the threatening opponent again and then falls on his knees, out of breath, exhausted from exceeding his limits.

When Daki curdles on Tanjiro, Nezuko enters the scene who manages to destroy the upper part of the demon’s face with one powerful kick. Daki manages to hurt Nezuko easily and, sure he cut her in half, approaches her to give her the coup de grace and absorb her. Surprising even the audience, Nezuko promptly stands up after he has already regenerated the affected parts and reveals a new shape, with Tattoos in the form of leaves all over the body and a more intimidating aura than normal.

Tengen, Inosuke and Zenitsu close the episode by anticipating the title of the next episode, that is, “transformationIn conclusion, we remind you that the anime also hit US politicians, and leave the cute characters dedicated to the Tengen mice.
