DCeased is coming to an end. In fact, it will come sometime in 2022 published the third and final installment in the DC Comics zombie saga. It was announced in a post on Twitter by screenwriter Tom Taylor, who also showed off the logo, which graphically renders the title as “DCEAS3D.”
In the original DCeased miniseries published by Taylor in 2019 and consisting of six issues, the DC Universe was struck by a corrupted version of the Anti-Life Equation that went to infect the denizens and superheroes of the earth and turn them into zombies. The series then received a 2021 sequel titled DCeased: Dead Planet and three spin-offs: A Good Day to Die, Unkillables and Hope at World’s End.
The title logo shared by Taylor on Twitter also includes a caption: “Every story has an end…“,”Every story has an end…“. Also, the screenwriter captioned the tweet:”This isn’t just survival. this is more“,”It’s not just about survival. there is more“.
Obviously the whole saga of DCeased takes place in an alternate universe, separate from the classic continuity that will be updated soon with the next Dark Crisis crossover event. In any case, this is a very popular story among readers, so much so that it prompted Funko Pop to create the DCeased Collector Box with figures and merchandise inspired by Taylor’s work.
At the moment Details about DCeased 3 are not knownHowever, a return to the drawings by Trevor Hairsine, former illustrator of DCeased and DCeased: Dead Planet, would be conceivable.
