At the "Natsu no Gakuensai 2022" event organized by Kadokawa and MF Bunko J, theAnime days with my stepsister, inspired by the novel series by writer Ghost Mikawa and illustrator Hiten. Here are the first production details, accompanied by a teaser and a celebratory visual created by the author.

In January 2021, Kadokawa launched the first Days with my stepsister series novel, now in its sixth edition. The warm reception from the Japanese audience led to a subsequent manga adaptation by Yumika Kanade and now an anime as well. Novels are taking the anime industry by storm. Excalibur Academy's Demon Sword Master will also get an anime.

The plot follows the events of Yuta Asamurawho makes the acquaintance of because of his father's remarriage younger half-sister of Saki Ayaand which is also number one in its class. In order not to cause discord in the family, both agree not to be confrontational but not too compromising and to leave some distance between them. However, Saki is looking for family love, even as she proves otherwise and tries to be alone. Confused, Yuta tries to be a good big brother instead. Slowly, the two stepbrothers learn to feel comfortable with each other. Recently, back on that subject, My Stepmom's Daughter Is My Ex arrived on Crunchyroll.

To mark the announcement, Hiten has created the beautiful illustration that you can find at the bottom of the article. The first teaser contains part of the Cast of voice actorsincluding Kōhei Amasaki as Yuta Asamura and Yuki Nakashima as Saki Ayase.
