SonyPicturesEntertainment revealed that the CEO of crispy roll, Colin Decker, has left the company. The operations manager crispy roll and former COO of entertainment, Raul Purini, will be the new president of the company. Decker will stay with the company for a few weeks during the transition.
As Director of Operations, Purini led the day-to-day strategic operations of crispy roll, including e-commerce, production studios, content planning, business intelligence, analytics and other functions. Purini joined entertainment in 2015 and has led the company’s growth in terms of global expansion and subscription base. Previously, he was Vice President of Solution Delivery at the global digital agency knifefish. He was also Head of Technology and Operations at the digital agency me plus you (before imc2).
Purini explained: “It is an honor and a privilege for me to take on this new role and drive the next chapter of Crunchyroll forward. Having been involved in almost every facet of the business over the past seven years and seeing how far we have come, there is an excellent opportunity ahead and I look forward to what we will do next together.
