The expectations surrounding the anime of chainsaw man keep growing. The distribution of the violent and spectacular trailer dedicated to Denji’s adventures during Crunchyroll Expo 2022 pleasantly surprised many manga fans and showed how much the MAPPA studio staff intends to respect the original work of Fujimoto.
In several previous interviews, some of the key figures of the team behind the implementation had already stated their intention to remain completely faithful to the manga and not to use censorship even in the bloodiest sequences. Waiting for the final outcome with the actual release of the series, Manabu Otsuka, CEO of MAPPA returned to discuss production by attending the series panel at Crunchyroll Expo 2022.
As stated in the @comicbookanime post at the bottom of the page, the MAPPA team is already looking to the future, as Otsuka himself admits they want to aim for it also adapt the second part of the mangarecently started Chapter 98 available on the MangaPlus platform.
