Tatsuki Fujimoto’s work will be back in action next year after the Chainsaw Man writer devoted all of 2021 to his one-shots and short stories like Look Back.
A few hours ago a trusted leaker confirmed that the anime and Part 2 of the Chainsaw Man manga will be released in 2022. It seems that the anime and the manga will go hand in hand over the next year. The news was reported by one of the top anime and manga information accounts on Twitter, @WSJ_manga, as you can see in the post at the bottom of the message.
Unfortunately, there is currently no further information on this other than confirmation that MAPPA will release the first season of the anime adaptation in 2022 (you can watch the trailer for Chainsaw Man here) and that Tatsuki Fujimoto will finally get back to work . to part 2 of the manga, the first announcement of which does not go back to this year, but to the end of last year.
On the one hand the material seems to have taken a long time, on the other hand the author wanted to enjoy a time away from the chainsaw man with look back and other one-shots. Given the quality of the first part and these final works, there is no doubt that the mangaka will surprise us. We remind you that at Jump Festa 2022, among many others, there will also be a panel dedicated to Chainsaw Man.
Both Chainsaw Man Part 2 and the anime adaptation of Chainsaw Man are planned for 2022
