The entire first part of chainsaw man was largely unpredictable, thanks to author Tatsuki Fujimoto’s superb ability to stun his readers with an incredible number of twists and turns. Also, a particularly interesting detail emerged in the final chapter of the manga.
Chapter 120 of Chainsaw Man finally properly introduced the character of Nayuta, the new control devil he replaced Makima. For those who don’t remember, the young girl was actually entrusted to foster care Denji at the end of the first part of the manga, a treatment that the protagonist has accepted to please Few.
It was the chainsaw devil himself who explained to his friend that Makima’s only desire was to create a non-violent bond or some kind of family. The sentence ‘you come first’ what Denji a tells Nayuta it is the most striking example of how the protagonist actually managed to keep his promise and turn a member of his family into a control devil.
