The world of dubbing in Japan is a very popular profession in the rising sun as the various seiyuu are seen at home while westerners contemplate Hollywood actors. The scandals surrounding them inevitably trigger a veritable media frenzy.
Takahiro Sakurai, the voice of Tomioka in Demon Slayer and Geto in Jujutsu Kaisen, was recently at the center of a scandal he was involved in. In fact, the famous voice actor would have cheated on his wife and lover with a third wife, a story that hasn’t spared him criticism of his personal life.
The agency that manages the Seiyuu has therefore had to intervene to minimize the losses that unfortunately exist weighs heavily on Sakurai’s career. Takahiro has lost another important role in the last few hours, that of Geto, which will be broadcast very soon and probably with the next news on the Season 2 of Jujutsu Kaisen.
