Denji and Asa's romantic date ended with a terrifying encounter with a devil who banished the two protagonists Part 2 of the Chainsaw Man manga in an aquarium. Imprisonment ends thanks to Asa's ingenuity in Chapter 117 of Tatsuki Fujimoto's work.

In Chainsaw Man 116, Denji's obsession with constantly making money turns into one possibility of escape. At the end of the chapter, Asa had asked the boy with the heart of Pochita to go away, cover his ears, and then propose to the devil who had imprisoned them. A million yen in exchange for freedom.

Chiansaw Man Chapter 117 takes off from this moment. Denji's ears are blocked, but he wonders why he obeys Asa.
