The anime adaptation of Boruto: Naruto the next generations produced by Studio Pierrot is currently working on an original story arc set in the Land of Water. In this series of episodes, the protagonist makes important personal reflections after a series of horrific events.
The original anime saga of Great Battle in the Land of Water is marked by the invasion of the pirate clan Funato in the village of mist. After a short time, this attack quickly led to the debacle of Kirigakure’s defenses, which now finds itself in a difficult situation. Leaf Team 7 and Team 5, who were in a foreign country for scientific research, literally witness a massacre.
The fight against the pirates led to the Deaths of several Konoha allies. The one who inherited the Rockhound in this new generation of shinobi perished defending his battle mates. When Boruto confronts Funamushi’s son, Kobuna, also out for revenge, realizes what the fight is causing. The blond ninja of the sheet understands this after careful introspective reflection sequence of deaths it leads to nothing but more deaths. Aware of this, he decides that from now on he will fight, not to kill his opponents, but to save them and seek peace.
