Two of Konoha’s strongest ninjas came out of the fight against Isshiki greatly reduced. Naruto lost the nine-tailed fox’s chakra which is now gone while Sasuke the Rinnegan due to an eye injury caused by Borushiki. Nevertheless in Boruto 73 Uchiha still proves to be a threat to the Otsutsuki.
Aware of how dangerous Sasuke’s Rinnegan was, Momoshiki felt it best to catch the Uchiha off guard and poke him in the eye. Currently, the Otsutsuki doesn’t seem to be able to come back to life, but in his various dream appearances in Boruto continues to threaten the leaf village.
