After only five episodes devoted to the story arc of Code’s attack, the anime of Boruto: Naruto Next Generation was interrupted in one of the most heartbreaking scenes in all of history involving the Seventh Hokage’s son. Let’s see in detail what happened in episode 293, the last part of the first part of the conversion.

Simply titled “Good bye‘, the episode aired on TV Tokyo yesterday, March 26, 2023, leaving many fans in shock. As anticipated in the unique preview, where Boruto fell helpless on the ground with a huge wound at the level of his abdomen, the protagonist, now under Momoshiki Otsutsuki’s control, was hit hard by Kawaki, who was sure to do the right thing to defend Naruto and all of Konoha.

Even as he watched the amazed and devastated faces of Naruto and Shikamaru, it seemed at first that Boruto was truly dead. However, thanks to the sacrifice of much of Karma, Momoshiki managed to bring young Uzumaki back to lifehowever, deprives himself of the opportunity to regain control of his body.

The rest of the episode shows the aftermath of Kawaki’s actions and what seems to be the meeting between the two close friends Call for their confrontation in the future, seen in the flashforward that started the series.
