The first part of the anime by Boruto is now very close to the end. Studio Pierrot surprised fans of the series by announcing the break shortly after the beginning of the arc of Code's attack on the Leaf's village, leaving them further surprised and perplexed by the impressive twist in Episode 292.

Justified "hunger', the episode in question focused on the clash between Boruto, now completely under Momoshiki Otsutsuki's control, and Kawaki, who was determined to do whatever it took to save the Seventh Hokage. The confrontation between the two ninjas, marked by references to the clash between Naruto and Sasuke in the Valley of the Epilogue, was decided in a clear victory.

Kawaki develops a stronger version of his karma and pierces his fraternal friend's body from side to side to honor him Promise made with Boruto in the past. This oath addressed the need to limit Momoshiki's damage to the village when the protagonist could not control him. As can be seen in the clip at the bottom of the page, the punch was dealt Kawaki inflicted a mortal wound on Boruto.

Naruto and Shikamaru, who came to the scene as quickly as possible after identifying Boruto's chakra, looked shocked and helpless. Boruto stands on the ground with a pained expression on his face, the same one seen in the trailer for episode 293, the last of the first part of the anime, which will be released on March 26, 2023.

Finally we leave you everything we know about the second part of the Boruto anime and the reasons for the long break in production by the Pierrot studio.
