The current original anime saga of Boruto: Naruto the next generations creates great emotions in the audience. Episode 242 entitled “Seiren” can easily be called one of the best of 2022, both for the great animations and for the fights that took place.
In Boruto 241 we discovered the truth about Ikada. The young ship’s carpenter, who has developed a strong bond with the protagonist in a short time, is actually part of the film Funato pirate family. When her clan declares war on the Land of Water, her sister Seiren requests her presence.
To persuade Ikada to do so give up his dreams and when he returns to his father Araumi, Seiren decides to eliminate Boruto himself. In episode 242 of Boruto, Clan Funato launches the attack. Meanwhile, he sends one of his henchmen, Funamushi, to attack Kagura. This is able to use the recall technique, from which he summons leeches capable of driving insane anyone who is bitten. However, Kagura manages to gain the upper hand after a brief melee.
Boruto fights with Seiren, who turns out to be one unlike his swordsman brothers sniper armed with bow and arrow. With its special ability to activate a sonar, it is endowed with great precision and always knows the position of its prey. Also, he can direct the arrows he fires at will.
Boruto, injured and in trouble, is helped by his friend Kagura. The two give birth to one spectacular team up to stop the antagonist being defeated after a crazy combo. However, Seiren is saved by Funamushi’s intervention.
