TMS Entertainment on Monday released the trailer for the second season of Baki Hanma, the anime adaptation of Keisuke Itagaki’s manga Baki, who turned 30 last September. The trailer focuses on the new fighter picklea warrior from a bygone and primitive time.
Baki Hanma is the third series of Baki on Netflixand is a sequel to Baki: Dai Raitaisai-hen. Baki Son of Ogre debuted all 12 episodes on Netflix last September.
Netflix presents the anime like this: “The story eventually unfolds in a total confrontation between Baki Hanma and his father Yujiro Hanma, known as the ‘strongest creature alive’.” The culmination of the universe of Baki, which represents the “greatest parent-child confrontation in world history“In the original manga, it was adapted into the long-awaited anime!”
The new anime adaptation of the manga Baki by Keisuke Itagaki (New Grappler Baki: In Search of Our Strongest Hero) launched its first season on Netflix in June 2018 in Japan and ran for 26 episodes ending in December 2018. Netflix released the first 13 episodes outside of Japan in December 2018, followed by the second half of the first season in March 2019.
The Baki: Dai Raitaisai-hen anime then premiered worldwide Netflix with all episodes at once in June 2020.
