Bleach: Thousand Years of Blood War It’s been one of the most anticipated animes of this fall lineup and Kurosaki Ichigo’s return to the small screen certainly hasn’t disappointed. In Tite Kubo’s adaptation of the work’s final arc, Soul Society takes on the Quincy invaders. However, the anime is going on a break of several weeks.

In the first episodes of the anime The Soul Society faced the invasion of the Wandenreich. The Star Knights led by Yhwach proved too superior an enemy for the commanders of the Gotei 13, who suffered successive heavy defeats. Even the 1st Division’s commander, Genryusai Shigekuni Yamamoto, was duped in treacherous fighting.

Soul Society only survived because of a stroke of luck, the spark of which comes from Sosuke Aizen. Kurosaki Ichigo must now heal his wounds and reorganize forces in the field. That won’t happen until at least almost mid-December, however.

Through an official statement released on the official website and then via social media, Studio Pierrot has announced that Episodes 8 and 9 of Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War will be released Airing December 12th, and no longer on November 28 and December 5 as planned. So, two weeks away from Bleach await us, with two episodes airing simultaneously on December 12th.

That The reason for this choice is not known, but it’s probably due to another project by Studio Pierrot. Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War uses a four-part split-cour formula. The first consists of 13 episodes, and with the season finale now in sight, the animation studio may focus its resources on developing Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Part 2.
