Black clover is now one of the flagship titles of Weekly Shonen Jump, a manga that is among the most popular in Japan and that even had an animated series of over 150 episodes. In the short term, however, Yuki Tabata's gem will be on long hiatus to give the author a chance to catch his breath.

Working on a weekly serialization manga is a very complex and extremely tiring endeavor on a physical and mental level. Meeting deadlines and satisfying an audience of hundreds of thousands of fans is a heavy burden for everyone but who Tabata Sensei tried to please him to the best of his ability, even if he passed out at his desk several times.

Eiichiro Oda and Kohei Horikoshi also have frenetic rhythms, but Black Clover's father doesn't seem to be able to handle those rhythms at the moment. So from chapter 331 Yuki Tabata will pause her manga for about 3 months, although the timing may not be definitive. This should guarantee him a physical recovery while better preparing for the manga's final saga, which will begin immediately after serialization resumes in the summer.
