The final story arc of Black Clover could be close to a sensational revelation. Will Asta learn his true origins and his father's name during the Day of Judgment proclaimed by Lucius Zogratis? For one theory, this character is the parent of Asta.
Through the feelings shared with love, the protagonist of Black Clover has already met his mother Licita. However, the Asta's father figure is still a mystery. Who is the mistress Licita had a child with?
If Yuno was able to discover his origins in Black Clover, the same fate could soon befall Asta. The discovery that the protagonist will make however, it could be quite bitter.
According to a sophisticated fan theory, the Asta's father would be Astaroth, the devil hiding in the body of Lucius Zogratis. To lend credence to this hypothesis, Chapter 331 of Black Clover is where Damnatio tries to find out a little more about the existence of devils. During these studies, he discovered that Megicula was the devilish successor to Astaroth.
According to the theory, the kanji symbol used for successors is the same used for the word "second wife". So there is reason to believe that Megicula is not only Astaroth's successor, but also his second wife. But then who would be the first? There Astaroth's first wife may be Licita, from whose relationship Asta was born. More trivially, there would be reason to believe that Astaroth is the father of Asta, also given the similarity between the two names.
In chapter 331, where Damnatio mentions that Megicula is Astaroth's "successor," the kanji (εΎι) means just that. UNTIL you see it's the second meaning; "Second Wife". Well, the word successor literally has 10 different kanji variants, so why would Tabata choose to use THOSE specific ones? pic.twitter.com/VVXMnoFRCq
