Jojolion is the eighth part of Hirohiko Araki's work, written between 2011 and 2021. The events of the story take place in the city of Morio-cho, formerly the setting of Jojo's Adventures: Diamond Is Unbreakable. The protagonist of the plot is a boy with amnesia and a strange birthmark in the shape of a star, which Yasuho finds. The girl will bring him in the presence of the Higashikata family, who will adopt him with the name Josuke.

Jojolion ended with an Araki-style cover that also received fanfare. The deepening of Higashikata family, whom we had already met in the fourth part of the franchise, has captivated everyone thanks to the protagonist Josuke Higashikata full of physical and psychological oddities.

The boy slowly discovers the Higashikata family and notices a strange peculiarity: the firstborn son of each generation is woman dress. Thanks to @DailyJojoFacts, we may have discovered the reason for this choice. In fact, it seems to be a clear reference to the Japanese novel "Nanso Satomi', in which a boy grows up disguised as a woman to protect himself from disease.

A clear homage by Araki to a work that has certainly shaped him. Japanese authors often insert in their manga easter egg related to mangaka or writers they admire and when recognized they always generate a certain amount of astonishment. Jojolion fans hailed the work on Twitter, posting lots of pictures of the work. Who knows, now they can't go wild with it Mystery of the Higashikata, finally came to the surface.
