In the past few days, based on some information from MangaPlus, it appeared that ONE PIECE and My Hero Academia would be taking a break this week. It would have been a sensational situation since Eiichiro Odaβs manga even had a cover and pages in color. And instead it is Stop involved black clover.
The first Weekly Shonen Jump Leaks from the always well-informed insider Yonkou Productions, which have arrived in the last few hours, have confirmed that ONE PIECE and My Hero Academia will be published regularly in the magazine as expected. The surprise is Black Clover’s break, unannounced and completely unexpected. The short oneshot Gakkyu Kokuho Powerspot was added in its place to fill the empty slot.
The last published chapter of Black Clover is 304, contained in the last issue of Weekly Shonen Jump and on MangaPlus in various languages ββon Sunday 29 August 2021. In this issue Yuki Tabata, the mangaka, he said he was tired, maybe a sign that he needed a break that unfortunately didn’t go according to plan.
Definitely, there doesn’t seem to be any signs of a long black clover hiatus like recently in Jujutsu Kaisen with Mangaka Gege Akutami, who had taken almost two months to recover.
Black Clover is taking an unplanned break in Shonen Jump Issue 40.
