A leak from the next issue of the magazine Weekly young magazine, which will be officially released in Japan on September 6th, confirmed that the manga was written and illustrated by Kengo Hanazawa, Under ninja, will have an anime adaptation. The leak did not reveal any further details.
Kengo Hanazawa is perhaps best known for works like Boys on the run, Resentment, Takaga-Tasogare and Tokkats. His most popular work, however, is I am a hero, which was nominated for the third, fourth and fifth editions of the Manga Taisho Prize (2010, 2011 and 2012), also winner of the 58th edition of the Shogakukan Manga Prize 2013 in the category “General Manga”.
Hanazawa started publishing the manga Under ninja in the magazine Weekly young magazine in July 2018. The publisher Kodansha released the fifth compiled volume on March 5th and will release the sixth on September 6th in Japan.
