Between thrilling battles and constant reversals, the wizards of the kingdom of Clover are caught in a story arc that some have complained has been going on for a very long time. If the current saga continues much longer, Black clover it would run the risk of becoming obsolete.

Yuki Tabata’s work is one of Shueisha’s most popular and enduring. As Black Clover begins its seventh anniversary, the manga series celebrates the arrival of an anime film, as well as several other interesting projects. However, part of the community he is not satisfied with the progress of the narrative.

L’current Black Clover saga lays its foundation in the now distant 2019 when the wizards of Clover began working together and training under the tutelage of those of the Kingdom of Hearts. The following year was the prelude to the Dark Triad’s attack, while 2021 was marked by the ensuing countermove by Asta and his companions. In the early months of 2022, some fans are starting to get fed up with this setting, despite numerous riveting fights, including the final one with the strongest devil of all.

It is like this at the moment still too early to judge Yuki Tabata’s work negatively. The final chapters of the manga have seen some spectacular fights but also many reversals. If the most important battle were not to be resolved in Black Clover 326, then forte the work would really risk becoming stale and repetitive.
