Described as a charismatic, ambitious boy who doesn’t want to give up his goals for the world, Grifis is regarded with respect by his teammates in the Hawk Squad. But his true nature doesn’t take long to arrive and anger the entire universe berserk and to add complexity to Gatsu’s dramatic life.
Grifis plays the role of the true antagonist in the series, born from the spirit of the late Kentaro Miura, and while he initially appears as a positive character who inspires confidence in his friends, those positive aspects are reinforced by the symbolism of the white color of his clothes and his armor, in the face of power, he does not hesitate to sacrifice it.
Grifis is a complex character in constant opposition to Gatsu, and an artist passionate about his work wanted to portray him, focusing precisely on the dichotomy given by the luminous and radiant aspect that follows appears on the outside and what his dark soul is capable of generating.
In the glorious Illustration by Renan Boé that you can see at the bottom of the page, in fact, we notice Grifis, without a helmet but with his armor, almost white, and in the background the advent of the eclipse that brings shadow and death to the physical world. And what do you think of this portrait of Grifis? Please let us know by leaving a comment below.
Finally, we leave you with a Gatsu fanart in a rare moment of rest.
