A legend was born in the United States of America in 1940. In the middle of World War II, the Dark Knight made his debut, a mysterious and intriguing hero who, after more than forty years, still defends Gotham from criminals. The cover of the iconic Batman’s first comic book is the source of inspiration for a new Funko Pop.
One of the toy maker’s most popular product lines is the Covers pop, Collection dedicated to the covers of the world’s most popular characters. So far, this series has seen characters dedicated to music album covers, video game covers, and of course, comics.
The first Comic Covers Pop was dedicated to Action Comics # 1, the comic that Superman made his debut in. The second figure in this line could therefore only be inspired by the other the most popular hero from DC Comics, the Caped Crusader.
Batman # 1 comic cover contains a nice pop in which the Batman wears his first costume, the gray one with a black / blue cape. But the back of the package is the most valuable piece. In fact, the cover of the first historical Batman tape from 1940 is shown.
For those who don’t know, the Batman character didn’t make his debut in this tape, but in Detective Comics # 27 from 1939. The detective is currently working on Batman / Fortnite: Zero Point. A few weeks ago, Batman was at the center of a controversy: the community blamed Bruce Wayne.
