The # 100 Batman issueThe former Tom King comic book series now in the hands of James Tynion IV will be released on October 6th. To celebrate the event, a number of variant covers of the highest depth were presented. Alternative covers can be purchased at launch, e.g. Three of them literally caused a stir.

At the end of the article you can take a look at the works of Puppeteer Lee, Gabriele Dell’Otto is Lee Bermejo. The former made what appeared to be the most popular cover of all time, and Batman wrapped his lifelong rival in the cloak. Italian Gabriele Dell’Otto opted for a more classic pose, with the bat man depicted near the bat signal, while Lee Bermejo illustrated a Batman full of anger and the smiling Joker ready to be hit.

The Joker War ends with the release of Batman # 100, and what better way to celebrate the finale of the plot than with a gorgeous variant cover? Of course, many other artists attended the event, and you can check out their work by clicking the link below, courtesy of League of comic freaks.

The Batman # 100 recap reads as follows: “The war for Gotham ends with an ultimate battle without borders! A fight that fans have been waiting for for more than 80 years and that will change Batman and Gotham City itself forever! Don’t miss the debut of the new antagonist Ghost-Maker and the first battle between Batman and Clownhunter!“.

What do you think about it? Which cover do you like the most? Let us know with a comment! In the meantime, we’d like to remind you that Batman # 99 will be released in less than a week. In this issue we will see the unexpected return of a hero.
