The Marvel Multiverse has allowed the publishing house’s numerous creatives to bring to life alternate dimensions in which its main heroes and antagonists have appeared with innovative, distinct, and well-characterized designs. This time, Marvel decided to change that completely avenger to imagine them in a cyberpunk dimension.

In the various universes created so far, Spider-Man has always been one of the first superheroes to receive modifications and changes, and also for this new beginning dedicated to the Avengers, he has received a new variant called Recluse. Introduced in Marvel Voices: Spider-Verse #1Written by Cheryl Lynn Eaton and drawn by Julian Shaw, Recluse hails from Earth-6201 and wears a perfect cyberpunk-style costume quite similar to designs from the controversial video game Cyberpunk 2077 produced by CD Project Red.

In this timeline Society is deeply connected to consumption and everyone has access to incredibly advanced technologies. The author himself, Shaw, compared what he and his colleagues envisioned to Cyberpunk 2077’s Night City, particularly in terms of the overall aesthetics of the characters and a New York bowed to Max Dillon’s will, so Electro.

In fact, on Earth-6201, Dillon managed to become a very successful man in the world of technology and achieve an undeniable position of power. While Peter Parker has been completely replaced by Zion Reilly, a girl very little is known about yet, other superheroes that are part of the Avengers group appear to have received minor changes. Over the course of the tape, Recluse meets Captain America, a much more relaxed Steve Rogers than that 616 Earth Capbut still willing to lead the Avengers with responsibility and a sense of duty.

And did you like this new Marvel universe with cyberpunk tones? Tell us in the comments. Finally, we leave you with our interview with Salva Espin, cartoonist of Deadpool, X-Men and She Hulk.
