The conclusion of the last season of attack on Titan Approaches. Eren’s plan is progressing rapidly and the protagonists continue to be hampered by the Jaegerists with whom they started a fight without limits and spectacular twists that also returns in the 4×27 episode available on the Crunchyroll platform.
By title”retrospectiveβThe episode immediately begins with a harsh reality: to gather enough fuel to fly the airship, you’ll have to wait a day or a dozen hours if things are going right. Given the rate at which the Colossal Giants are advancing, it will be too late for Liberius at this point.
So the plan is reach a hangar by sea, owned by Azumabito, in the Marleyan city of Odhina in the south of the region, where the airship can be refueled. With this strategy defined, the scene moves to the battle between Annie and Reiner, who have been turned into giants, and the Jaegerists. In an action-packed sequence, the perfect collaboration between Mikasa and his teammates and the two Eldian Giants gives them a huge advantage over Floch’s team.
Meanwhile, Jaegerist reinforcements are on their way, and Falco runs to the battlefield, determined to intervene change oneself. Luckily, thanks to an explosion caused by nobody knows who, the train derails, and despite this, the opponents don’t give up and seriously injure the two opposing giants, beating off the head of the female giant who had just lost a hand. Meanwhile, Connie, reacting to the murder of two of her old companions, is back on the job and, in a qualitatively exceptional sequence, she goes wild killing fellow Jaegerists.
The team is aware of one thing: if they hesitate, they’ll never stop the rumbling. When the situation seems favorable for the protagonists, Falco reveals his version of the giant jaw to the viewers and directly challenges Floch, who throws one of the lightning spears at the ship and is hit by a rifle by Gabi in midair.
Mikasa’s brutality ends the fight. Shortly thereafter, Falco attacks the Giant Chariot Piece, completely losing control, but is quickly annihilated by Magath. The rest of the team climb aboard and tie down the airship, which they exit. Magath has chosen to stay in port to protect them from possible intervention and joins them on the quay Shadis, architect of the attack on the Jaegerist train. The two agree to lure the remaining enemies onto one of Marley’s stolen ships. The two emerge in their final moments before blowing up the boat and eliminating the threat posed by the Jaegerists present there.
In the last scene we see an Annie desperately seeking the fate of Liberius and therefore determined not to fight anymore. The girl asks Mikasa to kill Eren. Remember that the 4×28 episode of Attack on Titan will be released on April 3, 2022 taking place next week, and it will be the last of the Final Season.
