The last season of attack on Titan turns out to be the culmination of the entire story from a narrative point of view, conceived by Hajime Isayama, who has never been so involved in the anime’s production. However, the series of events may raise doubts in certain scenes, such as the unique conversation that took place between Mikasa and Louise in Episode 4×24.
As Eren’s plan goes on, with the march of the colossal giants to the rest of the worldboth the Research Corps and the opposing factions must decide how to react. The confusion of what happened and the unpreparedness of many characters led to unexpected sequences, such as the heated discussion between Armin and Mikasa and the Ackerman’s coldness towards Louise.
A strong supporter of Eren, Louise was injured while fighting Marley’s military and being ambushed by Zeke and the Giants under her control. Mikasa then finds her on one of the numerous beds in the infirmary and the pose she adopts request his scarf surprised many viewers. However, behind these words hides the feeling of loss of Mikasa, who after the hard talk with Eren lost one of the reasons for his existence, to protect him and to be close to him.
Eren’s departure also caused great suffering in Mikasa, accused of being a machine willing to follow the protagonist’s commands in order to defend him, which Louise did instead. So it’s a way to take back his scarf, a gift from Eren finds itself and keep hoping for the connection with the boy who saved her life years ago.
