Surprises, surprises and more surprises. It is difficult to describe in any other way the content of Attack on Titan 4×20, the episode that aired on Crunchyroll on Sunday January 30th, 2022 and which seemed to want to prepare one important challenge between Zeke and Erenthe former being convinced that he held the reins to redeem his younger brother.
As the episode progresses, the minutes unveil a perplexing truth after which Story of Grisha Jaeger. The same Grisha who had been investigated during the events of Attack of the Giants season 3 and who seemed to have little else to say actually showed that he knew a lot more than what had been leaked so far, much to Zeke’s amazement.
On a trip down memory lane, the older stepbrother actually found out about it how Grisha lived with her new family on Paradis, discovering that things were not as he thought. Grisha never forgot about Zeke and always regretted what he did, but most importantly, the parent was always under the influence of Eren and his power.
Attack on Titan’s protagonist has put the cards on the table, proven manipulative of his own father, and coerced him into heinous acts, radically changing Zeke’s vision. Grischa thus becomes a tragic hero with the full version of his memories. And journeys into the past don’t end with the arrival of Attack on Titan 4×21.
