We know that the production of Attack of the Giants 4 was a disaster from different perspectives, with tense animators, tight deadlines for the implementation of the episodes and a mountain of criticism for MAPPA and the entire project team. Fortunately, the home video edition presents itself in a completely different light, with more detailed scenarios and faces and multiple hand-drawn frames. The Giants will continue to be in CGI. produced, but according to the first rumors, the movements are much smoother and in all other scenes the focus is reduced to a minimum.
While it certainly can’t be called cheap, the home video edition of The Attack of the Giants 4 is it seems a lot more curated than many expected, a wonderful surprise when you consider that MAPPA was also involved in Jujutsu Kaisen, Yuri on Ice: Ice Adolescence, Takt Op. Destiny, Alice to Therese no Maboroshi Kojo and Chainsaw Man work.
