A little over a month ago, Studio MAPPA announced that Attack of the Giants 4: Part 2 will air in January 2022 and today new production updates have finally arrived. The new information comes straight from the Twitter profile of Masafumi Mima, the anime’s sound director, who revealed this a few moments ago the cast is back in the dubbing room.
Below you can see a couple of takes from the set in which Yuki Kaji, voice actor for Eren Jaeger, lends his voice for a scene in the second half of last season. “Some photos from the synchronization of The Attack of the Giants 4: Part 2“, we read in the long post from Mima,”I try to follow director Hayashi’s instructions to the letter while Yuki Kaji, Eren’s voice actor, gets up and sits down after every mistake. We are all very determined to do our best, keep following us!“.
Attack on Titan 4 is now available on Netflix, VVVVID, and Prime Video, and adapts the events told in the Hajime Isayama manga up to the conclusion of chapter 116. The second part will finally close the story of Eren and his companions. Adaptation of chapters 117 to 139 over a period of about ten episodes (Number has yet to be confirmed). The fact that the voice actors have already returned to the room bodes well for the progress of the work and partially removes the risk of postponement.
