On the official site of the Japanese confectionery company lottethe production of a new anime based on the chocolate line was announced Bikkuri Man (ビックリマン)which is titled bikkuri men. The press release also revealed the production details and planned premiere date for the season of Autumn-2023 (October-December) in Japan.
The announcement of the anime coincided with the “Bikuri Man Day‘ in Japan on April 1. The product originated as cookies and chocolates marketed in Japan containing small collectible stickers depicting a game in which demons, angels and guardians appeared. Due to their success in Japan, manga series, anime and games were later created for the PC Engine console.

Summary of bikkuri men
The new anime will feature the characters on the collectible stickers that come packaged with the snacks. The story takes place in a world where the value of Bikkuri Man stickers is so high that they have to be transported in a charity vehicle. One day, a part-time high school delivery boy named Yamato finds himself caught up in a sticker battle between two competing convenience stores. Owned by store manager Phoenix, Angel Mart is famous for its easy-to-use glitter stickers. The Devil store across the street is also trying to lure Bikkuri Man fans to its store. The former comrades are divided into allies and enemies, and the battle of fate begins.
