Written on the official site for the anime adaptation of the light novels by Sarasa Nagase and illustrated by May Murasaki, Akuyaku Reijou Nanode Last Boss with Katte Mimashita (I’m the villain, so I tame the final boss) the second promotional video of the project was released. The video confirms that the premiere is scheduled for October 1st in Japan and shows a fragment of the opening theme performed by Rie Takahashi and titled “Kyokan Sarenakute mo Ii Janai“.
It was also revealed that the singer ACCAMMER will be the final theme entitled “comic“.
Sarasa Nagase Publishing of the light novels began through the independent website Shousetsuka ni Narou in 2017, and the publisher Kadokawa began its paper publication with illustrations by May Murasaki in September 2017. anko yuzu commissioned a manga adaptation that was published in the magazine Monthly comp ace from the publisher Kadokawa in June 2018 and lasted until only three volumes were released.

Synopsis for Akuyaku Reijou Nanode Last Boss wo Katte Mimashita
A sick young woman has spent most of her life in a hospital room playing otome games to fill her time. One day, however, she finds herself in the middle of a scene from one of those games, as the story’s villain, Irene Loren D’Autriche. At the banquet at the end of the Academy’s winter semester, Irene’s childhood friend and Crown Prince Cedric Jeanne Elmeier publicly breaks off his engagement to Irene and announces that he is in love with Lilia Rainworth, the play’s female lead.
Aware of the tragic future that awaits her, the young woman is determined to change it. She decides to defeat the game’s final boss, the “Demon King” and Cedric’s stepbrother Claude Jeanne Elmeier, causing him to fall in love with her. Given the time constraints, can Irene succeed in her plans, or will she be bound by the horrific ending that awaits her?
