Iconic title of the eighties, city hunter returns with an animated film that will put an end to the legendary story of Ryo Saeba. A new teaser trailer definitively introduces the film, revealing the full title, staff and release date.
In December 2022, the poster for the City Hunter film was presented, the official name of which was not yet known. The anime feature film now has a title which is revealed through a along with other very important information promotional film.
The new movie in the franchise will be titled City Hunter the Movie: Angel Dust and hits Japanese theaters in the fall season of the current year. The teaser shows some sequences from the film and brings us back alongside Ryo Saeba and his red Mini Cooper, his obsession with the fairer sex and his late partner Hideyuki Makimura. The clip also features the film’s theme song, TM Network’s Get Wild, just like the ending of the original anime.
Angel Dust celebrates the 35th anniversary of the anime series TV and will include returning staff. Akira Kamiya will therefore return to lend his voice to Ryo.
