The anime adaptation of 86: Eighty-six raises the bar episode by episode, and many viewers change their minds with the various storylines that the TV series brings out each week. In any case, the fans can celebrate because the anime accompanies us two cours.

As if that wasn’t enough, the animated adaptation curated by the studio behind Sword Art Online is a success even at home, to the point where it was even announced a prequel manga. At this rate, it cannot be ruled out that the series will be extended for a second season and that A-1 pictures Decides to focus more and more on what appears to be a new goose laying golden eggs for study.

Either way, it looks like the Chinese streaming service iIQIYI missed an important detail as it entered the total number of episodes of the anime: so that’s why 86: Eighty-six will be with us for 23 episodes. It should be noted, however, that these episodes are broken down into two tranches of 11 and 12 episodes, presumably separated by a three-month break. If so, the second part should appear at the expense of sudden changes of direction in the fall season.
