A topic that is often underestimated or little explored Dragon Ball greator in the entire mythology of Akira Toriyama, that of lighting is a seemingly complex concept and extremely linked to Goku and the world of martial arts so dear to the protagonist.
The character of Zamasu played quite an important role in the story as he indirectly dealt with the issue of human morality. Despite being defeated along with his ambitions, the villain himself mentioned the term in the anime.lighting‘. But what exactly does this term refer to?
For those who don’t know Enlightenment is the fifth and final level of Budo, or that type of karate practiced more as a martial art than a competitive sport. It is a final lesson that Master Roshi himself imparted to Goku and Krillin in the first place and consists of thisavoid letting yourself be defeated. It is therefore an even more profound thing considering that Grandfather Gohan was the first to inject this trait into Goku’s mind and which we see more clearly today form of Ultra Instinct.
And you on the other hand, what do you think of this reflection, did you know enlightenment and budo? Let us know again with a comment in the reserved box below.
What is enlightenment in Dragon Ball? Zamasu mentions that the goal of mortal evolution in Dragon Ball is enlightenment, which is the final stage of budo, which is what master Roshi Goku taught, but also what was inculcated into Goku’s nature by his grandfather.
