With the troubling mystery of the ninja academy solved in Boruto 264, the future young ninjas of Konoha from this new anime series original story arc return to take part in the classroom. Teacher Hana surprises her students by organizing a practical test session in the field: It is Kawaki vs Himawari!
To guide the children on their Genin journey, Hana-sensei decides to split the students into teams of three. In this experience in the fieldHimawari is a team with Kae and Sasha while Kawaki is with Harika of Clan Aburame and Soul.
The thought of this lesson outside of the academy worried Kawaki, who is not in a team with the one he has to supervise and risks his mission failing at any moment. However, it will be Himawari who takes care of Kae.
On the day of class, despite Himawari’s promise, Kawaki fails all his tests because of Kae’s concern. On the contrary, Himawari excels at leading his team from success to success. Boruto 265’s field experience turns into a nightmare for Kawaki when Kae mysteriously disappears.
As one of the classmates revealed, the princess was attacked by a dangerous bear, who not even the teacher Hana can defeat. Luckily, Kawaki intervenes in time to save her charge and prevent her mission from failing.
